Article Guidelines

We want your articles that showcase the best travel experiences our planet has to offer. You can submit articles with / without photos tagged to them.

If you wish to submit articles with photos, the photos will have to be submitted to the Picsean website before you compose your article.

The provision to include videos with articles is currently not available, but if there is any particular video that you have submitted that you wish to tag with your article, you can let us know about it and we shall take care of the request.

There is no limit on the number of articles that you can submit per day.

Articles on topics not related to travel will not be considered.

Articles in 'Draft' Status

When the articles are in the draft status, the details corresponding to them can be edited any number of times.

The articles can also be deleted when they are in the draft status.

The articles will not be available to the editorial team if they are in the draft status.

Articles in the 'Submitted' status

The articles will have to be in the submitted status for them to be available to the editorial team to be featured.

Once the articles are in the submitted status, the details corresponding to them cannot be edited.

Once the articles are in the submitted status, they cannot be deleted.

I recently submitted an article but it does not show up in the recent submissions section.

Articles will have to be in the 'submitted' status to show up in the recent section.

All submissions are checked for quality before they are marked to be shown in the recent submissions category.

The recent submissions category picks a few submissions randomly from the last 100 submissions that have been made.

What articles appear in the featured section?

Articles that have been featured in the magazine or have been chosen as editor's pick on our facebook fan page .

The featured submissions category picks a few submissions from the complete set of featured submissions.

What is the difference between the 'Draft' and 'Submitted' status?

When the articles are in the 'draft' status, you can edit the details corresponding to the articles and even delete the articles.

When the articles are in the draft status, they are not available to the Picsean editorial team for review or to feature your articles.

When the articles are in the 'submitted' status, the details corresponding to the articles cannot be edited and the articles cannot be deleted.

The articles will be available to the Picsean editorial team for review and to be featured only once they are in the submitted status.
