Photo Guidelines
We want photos that speak a thousand words, highlight your photography skills and showcase the best our planet has to offer. We need only photographs and not screen shots / paintings / sketches and the like.
Details
We would need JPEG's at the largest possible size at 300 dpi.
Digital Processing
We are fine with cropping, sharpening, adjusting levels and curves, color, contrast etc in Photoshop as part of processing. But, we are not OK with changing the factual contents in a photo.
Overlays and Borders
Photos with visible watermarks, text overlays and borders will not be considered.
Objectionable material
No objectionable content, such as alcohol, smoking, guns, violence, or nudity.
Limit on Submissions
There is no limit on the number of photos you can submit per day.
Photos in ‘Draft’ Status
When the photos are in the draft status, the details corresponding to them can be edited any number of times.
The photos can also be deleted when they are in the draft status.
The photos will not be available to the editorial team if they are in the draft status.
Photos in the ‘submitted’ status
The photos will have to be in the submitted status for them to be available to the editorial team to be featured.
Once the photos are in the submitted status, the details corresponding to them cannot be edited.
Once the photos are in the submitted status, they cannot be deleted.

FAQ's
I recently submitted a photo but it does not show up in the recent submissions section.
Photos will have to be in the ‘submitted’ status for us to feature them.
All submissions are checked for quality before they are marked to be shown in the recent submissions category
The recent submissions category picks 18 photos randomly from the last 100 photo submissions that have been made
What photos appear in the featured section?
Photos that have been featured in the magazine or have been chosen as editor's pick on our facebook fan page
The featured submissions category picks 18 featured submissions from the complete set of featured submissions
What is the difference between the ‘Draft’ and ‘Submitted’ status?
When the photos are in the ‘draft’ status, you can edit the details corresponding to the photos and even delete the photos.
When the photos are in the draft status, they are not available to the Picsean editorial team for review or to feature your photos
When the photos are in the ‘submitted’ status, the details corresponding to the photos cannot be edited and the photos cannot be deleted.
The photos will be available to the Picsean editorial team for review and to be featured only once they are in the submitted status.
